Hate Crime Awareness Week 9th – 16th October

Along with other agencies, we are actively working to stop hate crime where ever it is found.

If you’ve experienced an act of violence or hostility because of who you are or someone thinks you are, you may have been the victim of a hate incident or hate crime. Hate incidents and hate crime happen because of prejudice or hostility based on a person’s disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, or transgender identity.

The law considers hate incidents and hate crime to be particularly serious.

Citizens Advice Hart is a hate crime reporting centre and we can help you report an incident or crime. Please do contact us if you need some help or if you think you may have suffered in this way and don’t know what to do.
