Citizens Advice Hart is an independent local charity. It is also part of the national Citizens Advice service.
Our main supporter is Hart District Council who we continue to work with in several different ways. We are involved in their health and wellbeing initiatives ensuring that the advice and support services we provide benefit the health and wellbeing of the local community.
We are pleased to fund and support the work of Citizens Advice Hart who provide vital advice and assistance to our residents, helping them to overcome a range of issues that impact their daily lives such as debt, landlord disputes, homelessness and employment. We work closely with their dedicated team of staff and volunteers to enable residents to live safely and independently and help our most vulnerable residents to get the support they need, when they need it.
We also work directly with the Housing Department and help to resolve and prevent homeless issues within Hart.
We continue to partner with the Macmillan Cancer Support service enabling the delivery of targeted, consistent, holistic support to those living with cancer or being treated for cancer within Hampshire.
We continue to partner with the Money Advice Service to provide the Pensionwise service giving free guidance on defined contribution pensions.
Other funds come from national Citizens Advice Service for specific uses such as to deliver the Universal Credit Help to Claim service as well as grants for other smaller projects.
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund has been funding the joint partnership project Joining Forces for Families delivered in partnership with Citizens Advice Rushmoor and Citizens Advice Portsmouth.
