Citizens Advice Hart Receives National Lottery Funding to Expand Advice First Aid Training

Citizens Advice Hart is delighted to announce that we have received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue developing and expanding our Advice First Aid project.

Advice First Aid trains people working and volunteering in the Hart district to confidently spot signs that someone may need advice, offer initial support, and signpost them to specialist help. By empowering trusted community members to act as ‘advice first aiders,’ we can reach more people earlier and help prevent issues from escalating.

This grant funding will enable us to offer more free training sessions, strengthen our local partnerships, and ensure advice and support are accessible to everyone in Hart. As part of the Lottery funded expansion, we are particularly keen to work with community groups and organisations that support individuals with disabilities, neurodivergence, care needs, and mental or physical health conditions.

We are looking forward to continuing to work with our Community Partners such as Yateley Industries and Dementia Cafes, and to welcoming new partners who share our commitment to supporting the wellbeing of our local community.

We’d like to thank The National Lottery Community Fund and everyone who plays the National Lottery for making this work possible.
