Join us for our next Citizens Advice Data Insights event:
What’s Helping and What’s Hurting UK Households in 2026
How rising costs and recent changes are shaping people’s finances
Thursday 25 June, 2.00–3.00pm
Over recent months, a number of changes have affected household finances, from increases to benefits and policy changes, to emerging global challenges that could trigger rising costs. But what do these changes mean in practice?
In June’s Data Insights event, we’ll bring together the latest Citizens Advice data to understand how changes in costs and support are affecting the people we help. We’ll explore what’s helping, what pressures remain, and what this means for household finances across the UK.
We’ll be joined by a panel including Danny Dorling, Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford and author of several books on inequality and social change, including Shattered Nation: Inequality, and the Geography of a Failing State and The Next Crisis, alongside Citizens Advice Chief Executive Clare Moriarty.
Join us on 25 June as we build on our earlier analysis in May of emerging pressures, providing a clearer picture of where households have landed and what risks may lie ahead. You can watch our recorded event briefing from Tom here.
To join us register on Eventbrite.
We hope to see you there.
