It’s National Consumer Awareness Week (Jan 29th to Feb 4th).
Our annual campaign aims to raise people’s awareness of specific consumer issues and provide support and advice for those shoppers who run into problems along the way.
This year’s campaign focuses on advising people on what to do if things went wrong when shopping for Christmas or shopping in the January sales as well as what they can do if something you ordered didn’t deliver, how to return faulty goods and how to shop safely and stay aware of scams.
Watch out for stories and information in local and national mainstream media and social networks, providing advice and tips to assist you get the best shopping experience.
National Consumer Week is essential every year in our consumer society. This year, it matters more than ever, with a terrifying squeeze on the cost of essentials and inflation higher than many have ever known.
