Councillor Dermot Smith was elected as the new Chairman of Hart District Council at the Annual Meeting on 16 May 2024 . Every year, the elected Chairman chooses charities and causes to support during their year in office. We are delighted to announce that he has chosen Citizens Advice Hart as one of his Chairman’s charities of the year.
Councillor Smith believes strongly in supporting organisations that have a direct local impact. In his words, “I want to support those who have a direct local impact and make a difference to the lives of people in Hart.” We couldn’t agree more!
