We had a fantastic day at the Hartley Wintney Fair this past weekend, joining the local community for a busy and enjoyable event full of games, activities and fundraising.
It was great to be out in the heart of the community, speaking with lots of local residents and sharing information about the support we can offer. Many peopl

e stopped by our stall for a chat about the work of Citizens Advice and the kinds of issues we help with, including housing, benefits, debt and other everyday challenges.
We also had some fun on the stall with our ‘name the teddy bear’ game and hook a duck, which were popular throughout the day and helped us raise money to support our work.
A big thank you goes to our brilliant team of volunteers, Fleur, Robin, Bob, Mark, Michelle, Marcia and Jon, for giving up their time and making the day such a success.
We’re also really grateful to Hart Rotary for organising and hosting such a great community event, and it was lovely to catch up with friends from Rotary and Lions groups, parish councillors, and other local organisations. We were pleased to welcome Alex Brewer MP to our stall and to have the chance to talk about the importance of accessible advice services in the local area.
Thank you as well to everyone who stopped by for a chat, played our games, donated, and supported us on the day, and even to the dogs who made a stop for a well earned drink of water!
It was a really positive day all round, and we’re very grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.
