Since launching the Advice First Aid project, 345 delegates from across the local community have completed Advice First Aid training, helping to build a stronger network of people who can recognise when someone may need advice and support, and signpost them to the right services.
Booking now open for December training
Our September and October courses are now fully booked, with each session reaching its maximum capacity of 12 delegates. We’re therefore pleased to announce that bookings are now open for our next available training course on 2nd December 2026. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended. National Lottery Funding Secures Next Phase
We’re delighted to share that Citizens Advice Hart has received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue and expand the Advice First Aid project.
This funding has enabled us to deliver additional free training sessions for people working and volunteering throughout the Hart community, equipping them with the skills and confidence to identify when someone may need advice and connect them with the appropriate support.
Our Advice First Aiders have played a vital role in helping local residents access advice earlier, often preventing problems from escalating. Their enthusiasm, involvement and valuable feedback have helped shape the development of the project, and this latest funding award reflects the positive impact they continue to make across our community.
