Citizens Advice Hart is proud to announce that we are now officially an accredited Living Wage Employer.
This means that every member of staff working for Citizens Advice Hart earns the real Living Wage, an independently calculated hourly rate based on the actual cost of living, rather than the government minimum wage.
The real Living Wage is set annually by the Living Wage Foundation and is currently £13.45 across the UK, with a higher rate of £14.80 in London to reflect increased living costs in the capital.
More than 16,000 organisations across the UK have voluntarily chosen to become accredited Living Wage Employers, recognising that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. Our commitment also extends beyond directly employed staff to include our regular third party contracted staff.
At Citizens Advice Hart, we are proud to stand alongside other responsible employers who believe in fairness, dignity and supporting working people. This accreditation reflects our values as a local charity and our ongoing commitment to creating a supportive and equitable workplace.
