Has your flight been delayed or cancelled?

The National Citizens Advice service has seen an increase in people visiting their website advice page on delayed or cancelled flights. If this has happened to you, you might be able to get compensation if the flight arrives more than 3 hours late and it’s the airline’s fault (like if there was a technical fault). You’re unlikely to get compensation if the delay was because of something outside the airline’s control, like bad weather or a security risk. If your flight is delayed for long enough, your airline has to give you food and drink, access to phone calls and emails and accommodation if you’re delayed overnight.
