We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding from Hart District Council as part of the Winter Cost of Living Support Scheme. This valuable grant will enable us to enhance our support for residents facing financial challenges during the winter months.
As the cost of living crisis continues to impact many in our community, this funding will help to provide food parcels and essential money advice to families and individuals who are struggling to make ends meet. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that no one has to navigate these difficult times alone, and this grant allows us to reach those most in need in Hart.
We are particularly pleased to be part of a collaborative effort alongside nine other community groups, all working towards the common goal of providing support for local residents. From warm space activities at Darby Green Community Hub to budgeting support at Junction 5 Hook, these projects will create a network of resources designed to help individuals and families throughout the winter.
Councillor David Neighbour, Leader of Hart District Council, expressed the council’s commitment to supporting residents during this challenging time, and we applaud their recognition of the vital work being done by community organisations like ours. Together, we will ensure that Hart residents have access to the support they need, fostering a sense of community and resilience during this winter season.
More detail on each of the projects is on the Hart District Council winter grants scheme page.
